What is screaming wolf? screaming wolf is an area outside the scope of my company - set up because I was fed-up with writing scripts and code fragments to achieve that little bit more than the commercial offerings and then having to remember what site I had used them on. Most of these scripts were written by me, but I wanted them to remain mine and not associated with my company. I program for fun in C, C++, Visual Basic, RealBasic, Forth, AppleScript, Perl, Shell Script, 6502(C) assembly. I am not a commercial programmer - nor do I aspire to be so. These scripts have been coded by an enthusiast but they (generally) work. If you want to use them, please feel free - just leave my site address as a comment in the code somewhere |

Who am I? I am a third line technical support analyst specialising in Windows NT servers and digital repro. I have what is regarded as a broad knowledge of diverse systems - Apple Macintosh, AIX, HPUX, Linux, NT 3.51, NT 4, Netware, DOS and all flavours of windows since v1. I have designed small corporate networks with iSDN and frame-relay links, implemented budget driven redundant server systems spanning remote sites as well as the more mundane enterprise-wide anti-virus and data security policy design, deployment and enforcement I was one of those 'overpaid' contractors, that decided that IR35 was just too much hassle. You try keeping your I.T. knowledge current in a system that denies you training paid for by your own company. |
